Morgan Hill Pony Baseball is a NON-PROFIT organization. Without volunteers we would not be able to provide our players with a program of baseball. Please consider where you might be able to help and contact the appropriate member. There is always an opportunity to pick up a shovel or a rake and help the coaches prep the field, or help in the snack shack. There is room for helpers for the Board, like preparing for tournaments, etc. The best place to look for where to volunteer and to see who to contact is the BOARD. If you don't see who to contact or want to talk to someone about where you should go PLEASE contact anyone on the Executive Board.

The league also posts your reported hours on the web so you may verify you
are receiving the credit you are due. To request corrections to the hours worked, use the following escalation
protocol:
At a minimum, each family must perform at least 6 hours of volunteer service, 4 hours of which must be Snack Shack service. At registration, the league collected your good faith deposit check with the agreement that the league would cash this check if you did not complete your volunteer requirements. We prefer that you volunteer, rather than having to cash your check. PLEASE make sure your hours are worked and recorded by your team parent. See your Team Parent to make sure your hours have been recorded and you have credit for the full 6 hours. Your team parent can also help you find which of the above duties work best for you and your team.

For your convenience, below is the text that is printed on the MHPB Player applications: Volunteers run our league, and as such, we require all parents to help out for a minimum of 6 hrs of volunteer work. MHPB will collect a separate $100.00 volunteer deposit fee from each participating family. This deposit fee will returned or destroyed upon the completion of league required volunteer hours. Each family MUST work 4 hours in the snack shack. A league representative will assist in the initial scheduling for each division and its teams. If you are unable to work your scheduled hours it is YOUR responsibility to contact the appropriate league representative and make arrangements to work on a different date and/or time. The remaining 2 hours can be earned through participation in any of the following volunteer activities (please select one or more below). (
) Field prep & clean up The following are exempt from the 4 hour snack shack requirement: elected & appointed board members, approved managers & coaches (total 2 per team), team parent (1 per team), and team sponsor (1 per team): Please check those in which you are interested (a volunteer deposit fee is still collected. Upon approval by the MHPB board it will be destroyed). (
