About the MHYSA:
Our mission is to
facilitate sports participation opportunities for children
of the greater Morgan Hill and South Valley area. Our
inaugural Sports Grand Prix is intended to be our single
fundraising event of the year. With the proceeds, Morgan
Hill Youth Sports Alliance, Inc. will initiate a financial
aid program for South Valley children. Our financial aid
program will provide financial assistance for needy children
in our community who are interested in, but cannot afford to
pay the fees of youth sports programs such as tackle
football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball or flag

James Neet Tribute Game at
Live Oak on April 21
On April 21, 2009,
Live Oak High School plays Sobrato High School at Live
Oak Field. Live Oak Coach Mark Cummins has asked that
the proceeds from the snack shack on this day be donated
to the Neet family. James Neet is battling cancer and
the proceeds will help the Neet family during this
difficult time.
Whether an Acorn or a Bulldog, James Neet has touched
the lives of many of our boys. His love for the sport,
and his desire to encourage, mentor and to be a positive
team player has influenced our combined athletes
throughout their PONY Baseball years on into their high
school years.
At
this very difficult time for the Neet family, Mark
Cummins has asked that we honor James' contribution to
this community and to our combined baseball players by
dedicating the April 21, 2009 game to James Neet.
