We have been able to provide a range of experiences to help these players "get to the next level". Pitchers are getting live game experience with umpires, balks, the dropped third strike rule, and the infield fly rule. The newer players are learning batting, fielding and throwing techniques, and defensive situations.  Everyone gets to bat and learn new positions on the field.
