The Mustang Division players make a big step towards a more complete level of baseball. It is a competitive division, where umpires call the game and scores and league standings are kept.  The bases are 60 feet apart and the pitcher’s mound is 44 feet from the plate with pitching being done strictly by players only.  Players are allowed to lead off and steal 2nd and 3rd bases the entire season.  During the first half of the season, there are no runs scored from 3rd base on a pass ball or wild pitch, pitchers will be warned and instructed on balks with no penalty. The infield fly rule will not be enforced. The dropped third strike rule will be implemented during the second half of the season. At the end of the regular season a double elimination tournament is held with all teams participating. Just as in the Major Leagues, separate League Championship Series are played with awards for both teams in each League Championship. All Divisions, including Mustang, participate in a City Championship game on a league wide City Championship day.
